About me

The Engineering Behind the Absence.

The Background

My name is Juan Antonio Monzón, and I am a Mechanical Engineer with over a decade of experience in high-precision industries, including 10 years in the biotech sector. In a world of complex systems and over-engineered marketing, I found myself drawn back to the most fundamental mechanical machine: the wristwatch.

The Philosophy: No Logo. No Nonsense.

The "NOTHING" project started with a simple observation: a watch is a tool for time, not a billboard for a corporation.

Most luxury watches charge a premium for the name on the dial. I decided to remove it. By focusing on Sterile Dials, I allow the engineering of the case, the sweep of the movement, and the quality of the materials to speak for themselves. When you remove the branding, you are left with the pure essence of the design—legendary silhouettes, refined for the modern wrist.

The Lab Protocol

Every timepiece that leaves my workshop is not just "assembled"; it is engineered.

  • Regulated Movements: Every Seiko-based movement (NH34/NH35/VK63) is calibrated on a digital timegrapher for maximum accuracy.

  • Pressure Testing: Each case is inspected for seal integrity to ensure it meets its technical depth rating.

  • Component Selection: I source only high-grade 316L stainless steel, sapphire crystals, and ceramic inserts.

For Watch Lovers, Not Brand Suckers.

This brand is for the person who values the Look over the Status Symbol. If you appreciate the click of a 120-tooth bezel and the reliability of a regulated mechanical movement—without the need to flash a logo—you are in the right place.
